                     Artist Statement

                                Gerry King

Photography has always been my passion.  As a member of the York County Arts Council, Catawba River Art Guild, McColl Center for the Arts and various photography groups, you can find me out around the Charlotte, NC and Rock Hill, SC areas and surrounding countrysides taking photos, sharing my perspective of the world with others.

Currently, my work is displayed at the Olde English District gift shop in Richburg, SC (Rt. 77, exit 65 - left off the exit, then left again at visitor center sign) and at Downtown Artistry at the Gettys Art Center on Main Street in  Rock Hill, SC.  You'll find a listing of  current exhibitions in which I am participating on the Exhibition Tab on my home page.
